Every treatment involves repeated skin contact and long-term exposure.

We have researched and compared many massage oils, gels and lotions and found that they are built for cost and profit and not for health benefits.

Top brands (you are welcome to ask us which ones) are using ingredients that are absolutely terrible for short and long term health. Here is a list of some of the toxic ingredients we found.

Canola (Brassica napus)which contains ERUCIC acid which is associated with inflammatory stress and poor skin compatibility. This is very inexpensive and only used to increase profit margins.

Mineral oil is a very cheap petroleum derived oil that is greasy and often rebranded by companies as “Holly Oil” to disguise its petroleum origin. It is a source of accumulating toxins and hydrocarbons that form an occlusive barrier on the skin. It does not provide any vitamins, antioxidants, or fatty acid nutritional support in any way.

Silicones (dimethicone, silicone fluids) are used again for costs to provide the product with slip, artificially.

Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives:‍ ‍Diazolidinyl Urea, Imidazolidinyl Urea or DMDM Hydantoin. These preservatives are generally considered incompatible with long-term skin health and therapist hand longevity.

Fragrances (are synthetic) and are known to trigger headaches, nausea, dizziness, or brain fog. They have also been proven to disrupt parasympathetic (relaxation) response and nervous system. They also add to the body’s toxic overload and accumulate with repeated exposure.

Yellow 5 (Tartrazine) is a synthetic dye that can cause skin irritation, allergic reactions, and potentially accumulate with repeated use. It provides no therapeutic benefit and is unnecessary in professional massage products. It makes the product a light yellow. Yup. That’s it!
